Due to the advantages of small particle size, high surface area and good chemical activity, the reduced iron powder has higher combustion speed and lower ignition energy (the minimum energy required for ignition or detonation), and can be ignited and quickly melt electrolyte at a smaller voltage, shortening the reaction time of thermal battery discharge.
