Iron powder electrode

Iron powder electrode is used to improve the welding efficiency of welding electrode, and to add a certain amount of welding rod to reducing iron powder in the coating.
The welding efficiency is more than 105%.
The characteristic is that iron powder produces a lot of heat when it is heated and oxidized, which becomes a heating source other than arc, so as to improve the operation process performance of the electrode and improve the deposition efficiency.
When the iron powder is added under 30%, the iron powder is added mainly to improve the welding process, such as E5018.
If the amount of iron powder is more than 30%, and the coating thickness is increased appropriately, the welding efficiency of the electrode can be greatly improved.
The latter is often referred to as an efficient iron powder electrode, with a deposition efficiency of up to 160 per cent and up to 250 per cent.
Iron powder welding rod generally has good process performance, mainly used in flat welding and welding.
Sulfur is a harmful impurity. As the sulfur content in the electrode increases, the thermal crack tendency of the weld will increase, so the content of sulfur in the core should not be greater than 0.04%.
When welding the important structure, the sulfur content shall not be greater than 0.03%;
The welding rod produced in our factory is used for reducing iron powder, and the sulfur content of the product is 0.015% in the process of production.

Performance characteristics of iron powder electrode:

1. Improve welding process performance of welding rod and improve welding efficiency.
It can be used to produce the basic and acid electrode for the medium deposition efficiency.
2. The higher the pine ratio, the better the welding efficiency.
It can be used to produce high efficiency iron powder electrode.
3. With high carbon content, it can improve weld metal mechanical properties and reduce porosity.
It can be used to produce high efficiency welding rod.
4. The fine size of the model is larger than the surface, which can improve the conductivity and arc stability of the drug skin and the arc ignition.
It can be used to produce welding electrodes with small diameter and thin coating.
