The preparation technology of carbonyl iron powder

The carbonyl iron powder reacts under high temperature and pressure through CO and iron, producing 5 carbonyl iron oil (CO) 5, and then the superfine powder obtained after thermal decomposition.
Iron content is about 97%, iron powder hardness is larger, commonly referred to as hard powder.
If the iron powder is reduced by H2 gas for 1 hour, the iron content will increase to about 99.0% and the hardness will be lower, which is called soft powder.
Due to its small size (10 mu m), high activity and irregular shape, it has many unique properties and is widely used in military, electronics, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, agriculture and other fields.
